TNACI Renovation

TNACI RENOVATION

Location: Chattanooga, TN

Status: On the Boards

Founding partner, Matt Brown, while at Franklin Architects, was the Project Architect for the Tennessee Aquarium Conservation Institute (TNACI). After nine successful years in operation, the Conservation Institute has developed programs and partnerships with several like-minded organizations across the country. In order to further enhance it's conservation and education missions, as well as its internal operations, the TNACI facility is in need of modifications. The Aquarium asked Novel Works to assist with envisioning a more welcoming visitor experience, an expansion of the propagation facilities, a relocation of the educational space, and an increase in dedicated office and support spaces. The majority of the facility improvements will occur within the original footprint, and utilize the same or better environmentally conscious materials and systems as the original LEED Gold Certified building.
